Rob Hennigar, thrives working at the intersection of design, people and business. Rob has designed award-winning solutions for international corporations, served as a member of the faculty at Art Center where he taught courses in design and technology, and was Chair of the newly created Computer Graphics department. Following this, he was asked to be the Head of the Artist and Development and Training department at DreamWorks SKG where working with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg was a life-changing experience.

Afterwards, Rob moved his family to the Napa Valley for a change of environment and pace. Since doing so, he developed an educational program for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, served on the faculty at Stanford University, and was a founding faculty member of the Jacobs Institute in Design Innovation at U.C. Berkeley.

Currently, Rob has returned to his roots at Art Center to join the Graduate Industrial Design program as faculty and director.

Rob has a B.S. in industrial design, with honors, from Art Center College of Design (1984); studied viticulture and enology at U.C. Davis; UMUC Distance Learning Program; and attended the Stanford Executive Education Program. .
